A leading Global Consumer business has an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Ecommerce. This new role will oversee and manage the B2B ecommerce activities of the organisation. Your primary responsibility being to set the direction and strategy for online sales platforms. With a proven track record in the ecommerce sales channel you will provide expert insights, solutions and leadership to the organisations Global Sales teams to secure ecommerce opportunities within existing customer structures, in addition your ability to identify and generate new business across a broader range of dot coms is fundamental to the success of this role. As their online sales specialist you will utilise optimal research and analytics to develop new online sales tactics, delivering decisions that ensure these frameworks facilitate the generation of profit.
The ideal Head of Ecommerce will also have had hands on experience within email marketing, search engine optimisation, paid advertising, conversion rate optimisation or eCommerce marketplace management (Amazon, eBay, Google shopping, etc). This organisation has a strong global presence and they are looking to extend their global reach further into the UK and Europe through online B2B channels and platforms.
This is a real opportunity for a commercial online sales professional with strong ecommerce and digital marketing experience in the B2B space to drive revenue through platforms and through directly influencing and working along side the sales teams to maximise profits and sales through online B2B merchandising.
