Head of Brand & Marketing

Based London (hybrid working)

Our client a fast growing and entrepreneurial scale-up fintech in the investment space is looking for an experienced Marketing professional with extensive experience in Brand profile raising to join as Head of Marketing. You will need experience in the B2B Financial Services or FinTech space. Experience in the investments world is an advantage

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy, while leading and growing the marketing team. A key part of the role will focus on growing the brand and ensuring it becomes a key player in the investment space as well as building the business' market presence and influence as a thought leader.

Manage the team's marketing activities across a range of channels including sponsorships, industry events, mainstream/targeted media, marketing campaigns, advertising, social media, press and lead generation

MANAGE THE MARKETEING TEAM AND ITS MARKETING ACTIVITY

  • Lead and manage the marketing team (digital, content and campaigns) including hiring, performance management and professional development
  • Support growth targets through the delivery of marketing campaigns that generate leads and raise awareness of
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to identify and meet marketing needs to support business growth and development
  • Own the leads process and lead scoring, ensure sales alignment and timely follow up of leads in respective campaigns
  • Create and drive end-to-end campaigns from strategy to agency/resource management, creative execution. Measure and report on performance and return on investment
  • Drive growth and lead generation for the sales team through the demand generation lead funnel
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; to track and measure success

DEVELOP A STRONG BRAND PRESENCE

  • Build and define a brand strategy and roadmap to raise awareness of the business
  • Develop a consistent brand experience
  • Drive the direction of the strategy to build brand value
  • Influence and lead brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels
  • Lead the evolution of the brand to ensure the brand supports the company's vision
  • Be the "brand guardian", maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications

Experience required

  • Extensive senior level Marketing or Head of Marketing experience from the B2B Financial Services or Fintech sector. Experience in the investments sector would be beneficial
  • Strong Brand development/management experience. Proven track record in brand and profile raising. Experience of creating an exceptional brand and raising the brand profile of a new or relatively unknown business is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation (HubSpot ideally) and CRM tools
  • Able to operate at a strategic level and willing to roll up your sleeves
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
