There is an opportunity to join a leading, international financial information service provider in a Marketing Manager ESG role in Hong Kong. This organisation has operations globally and will provide a strong career platform for development and growth.

Responsibilities:
Working with the Regional Head of Marketing for Asia Pacific, the newly created role will play an essential part working closely with a newly established Sustainable team to help develop and coordinate day-to-day marketing deliverables in support of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and sustainable finance area in Asia Pacific region. The key responsibilities of this role include:

* Act as a marketing subject matter expert for sustainable finance, consulting with business partners and advising key stakeholders on an optimal communications and marketing mix
* Devise a strategy for localizing content and identify the most effective ways to distribute content to the regional audience.
* Support BRM by coordinating marketing programs and underlying tactics, including email campaigns, content development, events and advertising
* Develop new marketing content and collateral to aid in promoting business development in the Asia Pacific region
* Coordinate with marketing resources (digital media, press, CRM, video, etc.) and external vendors to execute strategies, deploying appropriate shared marketing services
* Partner with analytical specialists in the region to effectively position key thought leadership and intellectual capital in ESG and sustainable finance area, ensuring the business is fully maximizing our premium research content for business development purposes and the company is amplifying key intellectual capital to raise brand visibility in strategic markets
* Analyze results of marketing campaigns by collecting data and deriving insights to help our business partners make more informed decisions
* Coordinate with the internal Graphics team for advertising and marketing content development for events and campaigns; experience working with translation services a plus
* Support the development of scalable, self-service marketing solutions enabling employees to adopt best practices and consistent marketing tactics in the region
* Work with business partners and global events team to execute and market regional events portfolio, including both hosted events and sponsorships

Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a similar field
* Minimum of 4-5 years of marketing experience within financial services is required, preferably B2B
* Relevant experience on ESG products/ sustainable finance is an advantage
* Strong command of spoken and written English required. Proficiency in spoken and written of other languages like Mandarin Chinese will be an advantage
* Experience working in a global organization is preferred
* Proven experience with digital marketing, including digital advertising, account-based marketing, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, etc.), and website SEO/ SEM
* Regional market experience and understanding of business culture and mindset in the region is essential
* Proven ability to work with various parties and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as the role will be liaising with stakeholders and team members internally and vendors externally
* Significant experience with project management including planning, organizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities (i.e. You can prioritize high-impact activities, while keeping complicated smaller projects moving forward)

Qualifications & Skills:
* Proficiency in MS Office, and Marketo, Salesforce, Jira, Hootsuite, Content Management Systems preferred
* Innovative and proactive in identifying new commercial opportunities and marketing strategies on behalf of business, including new sponsorships, events and content syndication channels in Asia
* Prior experience with marketing analytics concepts and data-driven marketing highly desired
* Ability to proactively and consultatively support a sales/business development organization with marketing and sales enablement solutions
* History of independent thinking and decision making as it's expected that the person will be able to provide strategic input, rather strictly being execution
