My client is a global provider of financial market data and infrastructure. They are leading the way in financial software and risk solutions delivering news, information and analytics.
Due to growth they are looking to hire a Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager - Risk is responsible for growing the Risk business in the Pacific region primarily by prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
The Sales Specialist must have domain knowledge of Risk and Compliance requirements, workflow and solid relationships within the 3rd party risk
The successful candidate must be able to effectively position and demonstrate solutions such as (Screening/Due Diligence/Technology Workflow) in this area and through a consultative sales process.
- As a trusted advisor, the candidate has to discover, structure, negotiate and close deals
- Drive gross sales by proactively identify pipeline opportunities primarily through new logos
- Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within the given territory
- Provide insights and share thought leadership on their proposition with customers
- Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Excellent knowledge of corporate compliance regulatory frameworks (FCPA/UK Bribery Act/Modern Day Slavery/ESG)
- Deep market understanding some of a) expert understanding of Risk and Compliance b) knowledge of relevant market c) strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
- World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a "hunter & trusted advisor"
- Accountable strong sales 'closer'
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
- Experience selling to C- level executives
